What BillHelper is
BillHelper is a free, independent referral service for Australian homeowners. We collect your enquiry details and refer them to up to three accredited solar installers (directly or through established referral networks) who may contact you to provide quotes. By using this site, you agree to these terms.
What BillHelper is not
- We are not a government agency and are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any government body. Rebate programs are administered by the relevant government authorities, and eligibility criteria and rebate values are set by those programs and may change without notice.
- We do not install, supply, or warrant solar or battery systems. Any contract for supply or installation is between you and the installer you choose, and the installer is solely responsible for their advice, quotes, workmanship and warranties.
- We do not provide financial, legal or tax advice. Information on this site is general in nature and is not a substitute for advice tailored to your circumstances.
- We do not guarantee savings, rebate outcomes, system performance, or that any installer will provide a quote.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information in your enquiry, to only submit your own details (or details you are authorised to provide), and to use this site for genuine enquiries only. Automated, fraudulent or test submissions may be removed without notice.
How we're paid
The service is free for homeowners. Installers and referral partners pay us a fee for genuine enquiries we refer to them. This does not change the price you are quoted.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian law, including under the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to those rights, we are not liable for any loss arising from your dealings with installers or other third parties, from reliance on general information on this site, or from events outside our reasonable control, and our total liability in connection with this site is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Our handling of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
